Do you ever get that silly pyramid scheme objection? I’m sure you have at some point in your business.
If you have heard “Is this a pyramid scheme” before, don’t feel too bad. We’ve all been there and most of the time the reason we are getting this objection is because how we explain it. Does the way you explain it sound something like this…
“We are going to get rich! I put you under me and you get some people under you and we all start making money!”
How to Overcome the Silly Pyramid Scheme Objection
Wouldn’t you agree that sounds a little shady? Don’t worry, you’ll get better as time goes on and you’ll deal with this objection less and less.
So, what do you do when you get this objection? Can you “save” the conversation? Yeah, don’t get stressed out. Personally, I think it is a silly question so I give it a silly answer… “Yes! It is a pyramid!! GO CALL THE COPS!!”
If people are seriously asking a question and want to know then I might say something like, no… pyramid schemes are illegal and I would never be involved in something illegal. That usually gets them to chill out and I get them back on track.
When you are building a business, you’ve got to have posture and understand that your business is awesome. It is one of the best opportunities out there and they will be lucky to get into business with you.
Objections are just the prospect trying to see how serious you are about your business.
When a prospect is thinking about coming into business with you, they want to make sure that you are serious about what you are doing. Objections are a good thing but you can’t take them too seriously.
