- Get excited. If you are not excited, why would anyone else be?
- Make a list. If you truly believe in what you are marketing, you will want to share it with everyone you know and care about. Start with a list of 50, set a goal to get to 200 names.
- Book a grand opening/business launch within your first 3-5 days. Momentum and consistency is important in this kind of business.
- Focus on your “A” players. They are business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals.
Leaders: Prepare your new people for their first conversation. This can make or break their excitement.
Sample Invitation Script (smile while on the phone)
Hey, Bob! Do you have a minute?
What are you doing on (day) at (time) ?
I’m inviting a few key people over to check out my new business and try out some samples … Can you make it?
(Confirm your guests the day of the event)
