When people start a network marketing business, a lot of them post their link on social media right away, because they want everybody to join. They want to enroll every single person they can, but that is not really the proper mindset.
You can’t close everybody, but you don’t want everybody!
You’ve got to be selective when prospecting for your business. In this video, I’m going to share with you the best ways to qualify prospects and get quality people on your team.
How to Close the Sale in Network Marketing
To start, you need to be okay with the fact that not everybody is going to be on board with your conversation. Not everybody is going to have an interest in your business, and not everybody is a right fit for your particular business. Maybe they would do well with network marketing, but your brand isn’t a good fit for them.
If you’re looking to identify qualified prospects for your business, you have to have conversations. This isn’t a transactional exchange. You aren’t going to sell, pitch, close, and get paid.
In network marketing, you’re looking to partner with people. You should identify their “why”, ask questions, and truly listen to the answers. Don’t just ask questions to find out what angle to take, or to try and pitch them. Listen and relate.
People don’t relate to your product, they relate to other people. Make sure you’re connecting with your prospect. Make sure you are having conversations and paying close attention. If you find that you can’t relate to their specific circumstances, leverage your upline. Remember, your upline is there to help you build your business. Introduce your prospect to somebody in your upline that they’ll relate to.
Sometimes, people confuse the message with the messenger. Some of the people I’ve signed up, I didn’t actually sign up. I enrolled them, but someone else closed them. Don’t be afraid to get yourself out of the way. Don’t let you be the reason they don’t get started.
When you talk to your prospect, make bold statements, and be fired up. Don’t use hype, but find out what their hot buttons are and dive into that. If they want to make a million bucks, talk about the people making a million bucks and what it takes.
Set the right expectations. Let them know it’s going to be hard work and take time and sacrifice. If someone only wants to make five hundred dollars a month, then tune into that. Talk about what it takes to make a part time income and accomplish $500.00 a month. Give examples, and let them know it’s possible.
Finding the right people to partner with and learning how to get them to become a part of your team will help you build a successful team. If you follow the advice in this video, you’ll be on your way to learning how to find quality prospects and sign them up for your business.
